Saucy Fluid Art is the realization of a secret dream that I’ve had for a long time. But there was always something pressing to do. Then the most unexpected thing happened. A pandemic took over the world.
Because the world stopped, it gave me the space to immerse myself (literally) in my art.
It’s ironic that during a time when so much seems out of our personal control to turn to a form of art that was originally called “accidental painting”. Today, known as Fluid Art, it is a style of paint manipulation that incorporates many different techniques such as air blowing, pouring, swiping, string pulling and more.
One of the first things you learn is that it’s not as easy as it looks, but that’s part of the intrigue. Every painting is a journey and a challenge.
Not surprisingly, Picasso said it best, “The purpose of art is washing the dust of daily life off our souls.” My hope is that I can share a moment of respite with you, if only by providing something of beauty to decorate your home or workplace.
