Flamingo Woodcut Notecards

A favorite Florida image, the flamingo has recently been restored to the list of Florida native birds. Though rarely seen in the wild, they are amazing birds with a very long legs, a sinuous neck and black tipped bill used upside-down to filter feed in shallow water.

Choose from flamingo closeup or standing flamingo. These prints were made using two different wood blocks and multiple colors, with overlaps creating other shades and textures. They would make delightful notecards to send to anyone who loves Florida.

The woodblock prints are designed, carved and printed by hand here in St Pete, by me Polly Perkins, owner and artist of Polly's Studio.
